Marsha Landis

I am a creative entrepreneur with an extensive background in higher education, marketing, sales, communications, design and photography. My passion is serving the underserved or those who may need a little more help to find solutions for their health, quality of care and resources to live a safe life with dignity and purpose. That passion led me to serve on the board of  Wichita's Littles Heroes for three years, helping to raise funds and guide initiatives to serve children with debilitating and life threatening illnesses in the greater Wichita area. 

In 2002, I became a trained volunteer facilitator and established the Mulvane, KS Alzheimer's and Dementia Caregiver Support Group in Mulvane alongside Kaylie Mistretta, to meet the needs of caregivers who needed a space to meet others who are able to meet them where they are, and to gain knowledge and support in navigating the journey of dementia. Kaylie and I partner with other health care providers to offer free respite services during meetings to allow caregivers to bring their loved ones with them to be in a safe environment while they get the support they need.

One of my greatest joys has been in my role as a Marketing and Admissions Director for a 5-Star skilled nursing facility over the past 5 years. Stemming from the love for my aging grandparents, I developed a passion for serving seniors and helping families find resources and solutions to meet their needs. My amount of gratitude I have for the families and their loved ones who trust in me for help and guidance through this process, is unmeasurable. 

I am so fortunate to do what I love and love what I do. And to have the flexibility of owning a freelance business where my talents can shine for others through the services I offer is truly a blessing.
